Our Salsa con Rumba 1st year students show off
In order to finish beautifully the 2018-2019 season, I gave the challenge to the 1st year of Salsa con Rumba to make a video with only 3 classes of preparation. Here is how they took up the challenge!
A real challenge for many of them who had never done Rumba before, this video is a great success. After a year of learning basic steps and combinations, we decided to make a summary of this beautiful year.
The students had 3 sessions to work on the different sequences, which is short.
We are proud of them and we congratulate them for all the work accomplished:
Girls: Charlotte – Célia – Kity – Sylvie – Lilia – Samira – Stéphanie
Boys: Alexis – Marwan – Mike – Olivier – Vignesh
Not all the students were able to be present during the recording but they also did not give up and we are making great progress. Congratulations to all 👏👏
Often in our learning of dance, we wonder how to go further and how to progress both as a couple and as “suelta”. (read our article on the subject) Mixing Salsa with Rumba is a way to bring style to one’s dance while playing and interpreting the music. It is therefore one of the answers to keep progressing.
Salsa con Rumba classes can open the door to an in-depth learning of Rumba or to recreate a connection with Salsa Casino as a couple.
